Please Bear With Me

As you all should know by now, I'm still pretty new to this whole blogging thing but the more I interact with other bloggers and read other blogs, AND actually BLOG, the more I'm learning what I can do with my own!


With that being said I have decided I am no longer going to try to manage two blogs.  Having one for my personal adventures, venting sessions, opinions, etc. AND having a family blog for updates of Annaliese and her awesome mommy and daddy just seemed too much for a beginner such as myself to handle.  


Instead of having my other blog www.callmecassie.com on Wordpress and the blog you're on right now (see above for URL) on Blogger, I am just going to stick with Blogger for now.  In my opinion, it has less of a learning curve for people like me and so far, I'm doing better with it than Wordpress.

So please bear with me as I slowly learn my way through blogging and also soon create a custom theme for myself and my "Foto Friendly Family". :)  

If any of you experienced bloggers care to shed a little light on how you've created your own theme, buttons, etc., I would greatly appreciate it!  

I know I have to start with getting more familiar with HTML and CSS, but that's about all I know.  And the only reason I know what those acronyms are is because my husband is a wonderfully intelligent computer geek and has agreed to work with me side by side while we both learn more about blogging together (since he has to create a blog for work).  In the long run, it's something fun that we I will enjoy and at least we get to do it together!
